When I got home, the party was almost over.

Every body was drank and slept...

We exchanged the presents

My friends gave me a cell phone!! Cool!!

Puppy

We are planning to buy a puppy for a christmas present for
Takeshi and Tomo-chan.

So we're researching puppies by the internet and papers.

We found some breeders and visited one of them.

They are breeding fox terriers.
They are so cute but a bit too big for keeping in a house.

marantz

I picked up a marantz hi-fi set on a street.
It looks pretty old but works well,
The sound is really fine, especially for jazz or classical music.
So nice!!

Squid Fishing

I went to Busselton for squid fishing with my friends.
We fished from The Busslton Jetty.
The 140-year-old Busselton Jetty, measured at 1841 metres, is the longest wooden jetty in the southern hemisphere, and it's also renown as squid fishing.
Squid fishing is always the best in early morning or late evening so
we set off at 3 in the morning then got there around 7 which was supposed a bit late.
We caught 3 large squid somehow, whereas a guy who started a couple hours before us got 2 full buckets of squid.....

Permanent Resident Visa

My blood pressure has been staying below 140 and I've got the medical certificate.
I heard that anti-hypertension drugs have some side effect, such as tiredness, burning sensation, swelling, giddiness or hacking cough.

No exception, I've got dry coughs.
A part of it, I feel really nice however.
My blood pressure is staying around 125-85.

Then

I eventually applied the visa!!

It may takes 6 months to be granted.

Then at the second visit, he gave me a prescription.

Then I've got some anti-hypertension pills
I'll see how it works.

Home Gym

After finishing the school, my share mate and I are just working everyday and nothing else to do. And the weather in Perth has been horrible, we've got so bored.

So we decided to have a pet even we are not arrowed to have any by tenant contract. I really wanted to have a pug. We went to a pet shop.

However, They didn't carry any pugs.

So we moved to next door, a bike shop.

I really like bikes but my friends are not interested in them, so we moved to next door, gym equipment shop.

We found it was cool, so we bought gym sets.

My Blood Pressur

I went see a doctor to take the medical examination for the visa application.
Every thing was alright a part of my blood pressure.
My blood pressure has been a bit high since I was a high school student and
it's been concern for me. It's around 140-95.

I have asked some doctors about it when I had medical checks, then they told me that
there is a low risk. So I didn't go further treatment.

But at this time, I really need to rower it to under 140, other wise I don't get medical certificate.
It means I can't apply the visa.

So, what I need to do now is seeing a specialist.
That's sucks, for sure, it's gonna be expensive...

I went to see doctor for the physical exam yesterday,
so what I need now is the WA's sponsorship.

Mighty Mouse

I've been using the Mighty Mouse for a half year and the scroll button's started not working sometime.
I went to the net and looked up the solution. I've found a lot of web pages related to the scroll buttons. It is a kind of a defect.  Unfortunately, it is not so easy to sort it out by my self.
Some one show how to disassemble the mouse, and it looks not so easy. the other guy advices to clean the ball up with double sided sticky tape.

I just simply take it back to the shop which I bought it and asked the stuff solutions.
The solution is that they replace it to a new one!!
How simple is it!!

An Accident on My Car

A woman rammed on my car's back then the brake lump cover was smashed.
I was stopping as it happened so that it is 100 percent her fault.

I hope she's gonna fix it soon.

ipod Battery Replacement

I've been using my ipod, 40GB 3rd Generation, for 4 years
and the battery is almost gone.
Even it's full charged, the playback time is only about an hour...
So I decided to get a new battery.

The third-party replacement battery costs only 15 bucks.
And takes only a couple minutes to get done.
Now my ipod runs more than 6 hours!!
It is value for money!!

Heater

Been cold, i found my car's heater was not working well,
I assumed that was a matter of the thermostat.

I drove down to an auto pert shop and got a new thermostat and a gasket which cost me $20.

and fitted them onto my car.

Now my car is like a sauna.
peace of cake.

Learning English with Friends

I bought DVDs of Friends
How I learn is dictation.
1, watch an episode through.
2, dictate each sentences by doing stop and rewind.
3, correct the scripts with the subtitles.
4, watch the episode over over again, concentrate on the sentences I missed.

I hope it works.

Our New Server

My old VAIO has been taken out, because the previous one had died by the lightning.

It has been carrying the role out somehow.

TRA2

I've eventually collected all documents I need for TRA and sent it to Canberra.

It took ages because of HR at the hotel.
They are so inefficient, inflexible and unflattering.
Well, it's all right now, I've done it.
What I need now is just waiting.
The outcome will come in a couple of month.

A Thunderstorm

It was thundershower on saturday.
Several lightnings struck really close from my place.
When the biggest one struck near by, I was in the living room, I saw an electric spark on one of the power outlets the PC was connected to.
Then, the PC was gone....

The dead PC and its power supply

I lately realized that the TV set box and the wireless router are dead as well....

Polar Cadence Sensor with Flat Battery

I've been using a Polar Hart Rate Monitor 'S 720i'
http://www.polarusa.com/Products/consumer/s720.asp
It's very clever one, it is also a cycle computer.
So it shows altitude and temperature, and cycling functions such as speeding, cadence, distance and so forth. on the top of it, it can be connect to my pc and download the exercise data into my pc!!
However, the battery of the cadence sensor has got flat, fortunately the battery is replaceable, so I just got a new battery and replaced them, it's working now, so cool!!

Sunday, 25 May 2008

I came across one of my friends were on Skype.
We used to work together for a restaurant chain.
After a while I left the company and came to Australia, he also quit and went to
New Zealand.
After I got back home, he started to work as a teacher in order to save money.
Now he is just about set off to the US to study MBA.
He is always impressive, I wanna visit him while he stays in LA.

My old ipod

The capacity of my ipod, 3 generation 40GB, has been almost filled.
About 7000 songs are stored in it, and the file volume is reaching to  40 GB.
I've been using it for years and the battery is also worn-out. It last just over one hour.

I wanna buy the latest one, but money.....

Books

I had some Japanese books sent to the occasion to which I have a copy of a family register for the visa application sent.
Living oversea, I miss Japanese books, there is Kinokuni-ya and a Manga cafe in Sydney but not in Perth. Therefore, the only ways to obtain Japanese book are asking family or using AMAZON.

I asked my mum to sent some bike training books. After my bike's got fixed, I ride bike almost everyday and feel that I need more efficient training. So I bought some books which related to heart late training. I've just red them through and found them pretty complicating.

I also got an accounting book for beginners. Being struggling on accounting at collage, I need some extensive accounting books. I hope this book helps.

And I also got some more books which I'm interested in. The economic science hand book in one of them and the other one is about venture business.

I don't have a time to read all of them, so that I'll set some of them aside for later on.

I'm gonna complete the diploma in June so it is time to start up the preparation for the visa now.

My bike Giant OCR-1 got a trouble in the STI lever
I couldn't change the gears.
I've been riding it for 3 years and some of the parts needed to be

Memorial Service

One of my class mates, Daphne, passed away from uterine cancer.
She was only 28 years old.
We studied Certificate III Commercial Cookery for a year together.
Since we had the same goal, getting Permanent Residence visas, we are pretty tight-knit
We helped each other. I was very busy studying at the time.
She was a really energetic, cheerful and kind person.
When she got the cancer, she went back to her home, and stayed at a hospis.
We received the sad news of her death a few days later.
So we decided to hold a memorial service instead of attending the funeral in her country.

The memorial service was held in the TAFE campus lake side.
Some lecturers, staff and all of her class mates attended.
Paul on the left, from the purchasing departemt conducted the service.

During the service, we sang some songs for her.

After the ceremony, we cast the floral tribute onto the lake.

Koji's Birthday Trip

Celebrating our dear Koji's 27th birthday, we came up with the idea, a trip to Margaret River on Labour day March 3.

Relaxing on a chair, Koji, also known as Onanie King, tonight's guest at age of 27

....

On the right, Takeshi, a campsite dweller, dedicating
entire his life to surfing. And his mates Taro and Manabu

Being noisy at midnight at the campsite, we were
kicked out there by the caretaker, we needed to move to the other place.....

We were at a loss where to go......

We decided to stay in a park, we are now homeless...
